History
Holmefield Court was built between 1933 and 1934 by Bell Properties Trust Limited in Belsize Grove, on land originally owned by Edward Bliss. He was a self-made man and began developing a 14 acre site fronting the west side of Haverstock Hill, soon after 1815. Bell Properties constructed Holmefield Court (and Gilling Court) on the remaining vacant land on Edward Bliss's original plot.
