Happy 1st Birthday Greene&Co Crouch End!

Happy Birthday to our newest office in Crouch End who have been open for a year this month.
It's been quite a first year too... Whilst the market has been tough for all, Greene & Co have been made to feel really welcome in Crouch End and have made some great new friends along the way including;
The Crouch End Project: The shops restaurants, cafes, pubs and bars are big part of what makes Crouch End so special, and to keep it so, a number of independents have joined together to find ways that they can help keep this community alive and flourishing. Greene & Co are proud members of The Crouch End Project!
St. Aidan's Primary School: Greene & Co have worked closely with St. Aidan's Primary School this year, with the most memorable event being the sponsorship of the Summer Fair.
We had a great time there on the day and Armun, lettings extraordinare and Susie in sales really loved dressing up as pirates to raise money for Marie Curie!
Weston Park Primary School: Sponsoring the Christmas fundraiser, Greene & Co are the proud partner for the Go Green Weston Park school calendar!!!
Rokesly Primary School: Greene & Co helped raise money for Rokesly during their summer fair.
Coleridge Primary School: Greene & Co helped raise money for Coleridge during their summer fair.
Hornsey Cricket Club: Greene & Co discovered a new love for cricket this year and even have our logo sported on the HCC kit! Aren't we sporty!
We've given away about 20,000 Go Greene bags in an attempt to do our bit for the environment...
And then there's our favourite day of 2008, the Crouch End Fun Day. Aimed to introduce us to the locals, raise some money for Marie Curie's Project Butterfly and to show our skills on the cricket pitch, the day was a great success. About 800 locals turn out for the festivities including “Soggy Sponge the Estate Agent”, a bouncy castle, local trader stalls, bric-a-brac, face painting and live performances by local artists and bands.
The Twenty20 cricket match was won (not surprisingly) by the Hornsey Cricket Club with MD of Greene & Co. David Pollock commenting “Let’s be grateful that we are better at selling houses and raising money for charity than we are at playing cricket!” Even with the help of Eastenders Mohammad George (who plays Gus) on the estate agents team, Greene & Co. could not defeat the local cricket club!
Thank you to all the shop keepers, property owners, applicants, local residents, schools and members of the community who have made Crouch End such a pleasure for us to work every day! We look forward to many successful years to come!
