Getting Your Home Valued
The first step is to get your home valued. It is wise to have at least two valuations on your property so that you pitch your asking price within the current market range and you will be able to compare the services that each agent offers as well as the commission.
How to decide which estate agent to use?
If you are having trouble deciding, and don’t want to use just one agent (sole agent) you can use more than one agent which is known as multi-agency.
There are many reasons that vendors choose to sell their property through an estate agent rather than do it privately. Some of the benefits of using an estate agent include:
Valuations - an experienced and knowledge sales consultant will value your home knowing what the current market trends are and what a realistic asking price would be.
Sales Details - prepare the sales particulars and take professional photos to show your home in the best light.
Potential Buyers - they have access to hundreds of applicants looking for somewhere to buy.
Once you have decided to go sole or multi agency, you then instruct your chosen estate agent(s) to market and sell your property. They will take down the sales particulars and have photos taken of the property to produce sales details for the marketing. They wil get to work trying to arrange viewings of your property.
